ACTOR, NARRATOR, VOICE-OVER ARTIST

An Australian in the USA

"Modeling and acting was a lot of fun ... hard work, but fun. It was certainly a change from the challenges of farming and the backbreaking toil of shearing sheep, sweating away to the physique of a greyhound in hot and dusty iron sheds. I got to travel a lot, to parts of Australia I hadn't seen, and overseas: London, Europe, Hong Kong and several other exotic locations."

Tony was doing National television commercials, advertising spots and fashion modeling assignments soon after arriving in Sydney. Tony worked on the television series Young Doctors as Doctor Gavin Morris and appeared in A Country Practice, Sons and Daughters and The Dismissal.

In the United States, his rugged outback looks fit well with the American male image, and despite his Australian accent he has had principal roles in a number of commercials, national and local, and acted as well as appeared in the television series: It's a Miracle and Perry Mason.

"Before my writing took over most of my time, I got back to doing live theatre. One of my most accomplished performances was in the show Something's Afoot, a song and dance mystery thriller where I was the choreographer's worst nightmare as she struggled to get my feet to do what she and my mind were telling them to do. I did better with the singing. The Foreigner was a lot of fun, largely because of the wonderfully talented cast and crew ... and not having to dance.

"I enjoy live theatre locally and occasionally manage to juggle enough time to tread the boards. Playing S/Sgt. 'Froggy' LeSueur with a cockney accent in The Foreigner was a delightful change from the pompous British accent of Colonel Gilweather in Something's Afoot. For those Ageless Adventurers who are looking for a different challenge, acting in local theatre productions can be a vital tool for keeping the mind well exercised. Go for it!"

Tony is an accomplished voice over artist and is often booked when an Australian or British accent is required for narration and character driven projects.
